Recent research has uncovered new information concerning the involvement of Thomas Hopper that pre-dates his designing of the New Hall in 1841!

As part of the precautions put in place when Thomas Hopper started construction of the new Hall. The Hughes family installed a fire hydrant system. This system was powered by a series of EASTHAM HYDROSTATIC RAMS that were positioned around the Kinmel Estate.
